THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUASH THE AWARD DATED 31/10/2022 IN AID NO. 53/2019 PASSED BY THE ADDL. INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNAL, BANGALORE (ANN-D).
THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN 'B' GROUP THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE ANANT RAMANATH HEGDE ORAL ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner-Corporation in this petition is challenging the award dated 31.10.2022 passed by Additional Industrial Tribunal, Bangalore in AID.No.53/2019.

Learned counsel for the parties have filed a joint memo. The particulars of which are extracted in the joint memo submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent jointly submit that the parties have amicably settled the dispute and they are present before this Court and are identified by their respective counsel.

5. The joint memo is signed by the parties as well as by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the
learned counsel appearing for the respondent which is extracted hereunder:
"The WP filed against the award in AID. No.53/2019 dated 31.10.2022 on the file of the Industrial Tribunal, Bengaluru has been settled between the parties on the following terms and the award may kindly be modified as under:
1. The basic pay of the Respondent is postponement of one increment for a period of one year without cumulative effect from the date of punishment till the date of retirement, instead of one increment for the period of 2 years. the Respondent is entitled for one incremental benefit.
2. The parties to the proceedings have agreed for the above terms."
6. This Court has considered the terms and conditions of the joint memo. This Court does not find any impediment in accepting the joint memo. Accordingly, the memo is accepted.

7. Hence, the following:
