The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is running an Event Management and Catering agency and had supplied food as required by the 2"''^ respondent. It is also submitted that the 2'’'^ respondent, vide proceedings dated 29.01.2024, informed the 1®* respondent to grant permission to utilize the alternate funds for payment of the bills raised by the petitioner. The 2'^'^ respondent has referred to the petitioner at SI.No.34 and an amount of Rs.77,52,500/- is sought to be released in favour of the petitioner. 2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3”^^ respondent submits that the 3'^'^ respondent is unconnected with the payment of bills and that work was entrusted by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Nandyala, for supply of refreshments and food, as such the 3'^'^ respondent is not the competent authority to release the payments. 3. 4. Be that as it may, it is not disputed by any of the respondents that the petitioner supplied the food, and the proceedings of the 2"'^ respondent are categorical and unambiguous. Insofar as the dues payable to the petitioner are concerned, there shall be a direction to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to release the bills of the petitioner in pursuance of the proceedings dated / 4 29.01.2024, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs. 6. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
