Mohanty, learned counsel for the Appellant- claimant and Mr. P.K. Mahali, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2-insurer. 2. Upon hearing both the parties and considering the grounds mentioned in the petition, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. 3. The M.C. is disposed of. MACA No.525 of 2007 4. Though this matter is listed under the heading “For Orders”, but on the consent of both the parties the same is taken up for final hearing. 5. Present appeal by the claimant is directed against the judgment dated 20.02.2006 of learned 1st M.A.C.T., Keonjhar in M.A.C. Case No.30 of 1992, wherein compensation to the tune of Rs.1000/- has been granted to the claimant on account of injury Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Designation: Secretary Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 07-Jan-2025 14:00:26 Signature Not Verified sustained by him in the motor vehicular accident dated 15.07.1991. 6. Upon hearing both parties and taking note of the nature of injury, which is simple one, I do not find any reason to enhance the compensation amount. 7. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed confirming the amount of compensation. 8. Since it is submitted at the Bar that, the compensation amount as per the direction of the learned Tribunal has not yet been deposited, Respondent No.2-insurer is directed to deposit the entire compensation amount including interest within a period of eight weeks from today, whereafter the same shall be disbursed in favour of the claimant-Appellant. 9.
