3. A joint affidavit is filed duly signed by petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2. The terms of the joint affidavit, reads as under:
"We, (1) Syed Naseer Ahmed s/o Syed Ashraf, aged about 33 years, residing at No.582, Court Road, Vinayaka Nagar, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural District, Pin Code No.561203, and (2) Farhan Naz F. d/o Fathaulla Khan, aged about 31 years, residing at behind: Naif Palace, Near E &

T Hospital, 1st Main, Ring Road, Tumakuru do hereby solemnly affirm and state on oath as follows: We submit that the aforesaid petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of complaint, FIR, Chargesheet, in C.C.No.10/2023 for the offences punishable under Sec. 498(A), 504, 506, 354, 494, 34 r/w Sec. 3 and 4 of D.P.Act, pending before the Hon'ble 2nd Addl. Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Tumakuru, filed by the 2nd Respondent i.e., the 2nd among us. We state that the first among us and second among us were married on 21.04.2019. Our marriage having been solemnized as per Islamic rites and customes at Star Convention Hall, Ring Road, Tumakuru. We sate that we have settled all our differences amicably and we desire to withdraw/compound quash all proceedings filed by and against us. We state that in view of amicable settlement between us, we desire that the proceedings in C.C.No.10/2023 pending on the file of the II Addl. Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Tumakuru for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 504, 506, 354, 494, 34 of IPC r/w Sec. 3 and 4 of D.P.Act,

We state that the joint affidavit is executed out of our respective will and no elements of force or coercion are involved in executing this affidavit. We do hereby declare that what is stated above are true to the best of our knowledge, information and belief".
4. Respondent No.2/complainant submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners and she has no objection to allow the petition and quash the criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioners.
5. In the light of the compromise entered into between the parties, the following order:
ORDER (i) The petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, is allowed. (ii) The criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 *to 5 in C.C.No.10/2023 (Crime No.98/2022) on the file of II Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Tumakuru, is hereby quashed. *Corrected vide Chamber order dated: 18.07.2025

(iii) The Registry is directed to send copy of this order to the trial Court forthwith.
