YASWANTH GADE The Court made the following: 2 COMMON ORDER: The instant petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by the Petitioners / Accused Nos.5 and 6, seeking quashment of the proceedings against them in C.C.No.1736 of 2023 on the file of the Court of I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 120-B and 506 read with 34 IPC. 2. I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are filed by Respondent No.2/De facto complainant seeking permission to compound the offences and compromise the matter with the Petitioners. 3. Petitioners / Accused Nos.5 and 6 and the authorized person of Respondent No.2 appeared before this Court and were identified by their respective learned counsel. 4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor is in attendance. 5. Both parties would submit that they came to an amicable settlement and filed a joint memo to that effect for withdrawal of the present case pending between them. The Director and Authorized person of Respondent No.2 by way of an affidavit would submit that, at the intervention of elders and well- wishers, the matter was settled between the parties out of the Court and in view of the same, they intend to compound the offences alleged against the Petitioners and compromise the matter with them, in the present case and prays for quashment of the case. 6. Considering the submissions, in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties, and in the interest of justice, I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the case against 3 the Petitioners / Accused Nos.5 and 6 in C.C.No.1736 of 2023 on the file of the Court of I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, is hereby quashed.
