Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 232/2021, arising out of Barwadda P.S. Case No. 98/2021, corresponding to G.R. No. 2493 of 2021, registered under Sections 302/ 201/ 120-B/376(1) of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Session Judge-X, Dhanbad.
Bail application of the petitioner was earlier twice rejected by this Court. Sister of the informant went missing. On enquiry, it transpired that she had gone to Maa Tara Hotel with her husband, who left her with the accused persons and went to join his duty. During the course of investigation, dead body of the victim was recovered from the under- construction septic tank of Maa Tara Hotel. Petitioner is the owner of the said Hotel. Statement of the daughter of the deceased has been recorded, in which she has stated that the petitioner had taken her mother to another place and thereafter she did not return. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
