The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhurwa (Tupudana) P.S. Case No. 68/2025 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 81/2025, for the offences under Sections 18(c), 22 & 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Sections 338, 340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi. 3. On 13.03.2025, Dhurwa (Tupudana) police raided house of the petitioner and recovered 1.5 kgs. of opium from there. 4. It was submitted that quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 5. Learned special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi in connection with Dhurwa (Tupudana) P.S.
