ORAL ORDER
In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
“Wherefore, the Petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Court kindly allow this Criminal Petition and set aside the order dated 30.10.2024 passed by the LXIV Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge at Bengaluru (CCH-65) in Crl.A.No.1620/2023 and extend the time for a period of 4 weeks to deposit the 20% of fine amount, in the interest of justice.”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material on record.
3. For the order proposed, notice to respondent is dispensed with.

A perusal of the material on record will indicate that the request of the petitioner to grant some more time to deposit 20% of the fine amount in Crl.A.No.1620/2023 before the Sessions Court having rejected by the Sessions Court vide impugned order dated 30.10.2024, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to bonafide reasons, unavoidable circumstances and sufficient cause,

the petitioner was not in a position to deposit 20% of the fine amount within the stipulated time and if some more time is granted, the petitioner would deposit the same as directed by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and by adopting a justice oriented approach, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition permitting the petitioner to deposit 20% of the fine amount before the Appellate Court as ordered in Crl.A.No.1620/2023 dated 30.10.2024, on or before
07.02.2025.
7. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Criminal Petition stands disposed of.
