Since common questions of law and fact are involved in these writ petitions, therefore they are heard together and are being decided by a common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity, facts of WPSS No. 1950 of 2024 alone are being considered and discussed. 2. Petitioner in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1950 of 2024 was appointed as Cashier in Provincial Cooperative Federation, Lucknow in the year 1981 and after State reorganisation, petitioner became employee of Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation Limited. He retired 2025:UHC:7357 from service in the month of April, 2017. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was entitled to arrears of 7th Pay Commission which has not been paid to him. He, therefore, submits that writ petition be disposed of by directing the Competent Authority in Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation Limited to take decision regarding grant of arrears of 7th Pay Commission to the petitioner. He submits that Board of Management is the Competent Authority to take decision in the matter. 4. Without going into the merits of the claim made by petitioners, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority in Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation Limited, to consider the request made by petitioners for grant of arrears of 7th Pay Commission, as per law within six months from date of presentation of certified copy of this order. If Competent Authority decides in favour of the petitioners, then arrears of 7th Pay Commission may be released within three months thereafter. 5. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
