ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA)
This contempt petition was posted yesterday. Since direction in the order of learned Single Judge on 20.06.2024 was to respondent No.4-the Special Tahsildar, Bengaluru to consider the representations of the petitioner-complainant, when enquired about the compliance, learned Additional Government Advocate Mr..S.H.Raghavendra initially stated that the post of the Special Tahsildar-respondent No.4 is vacant and in that view, it would take time before the compliance could be obtained.
2. When asked about whether any officer is in-charge of the post of Special Tahsildar in absence of regular incumbent, learned Additional Government Advocate wanted to take instructions, in pursuance of which the petition was posted today and has come up for consideration.
3. Learned Additional Government Advocate stated before the Court today that an officer is already functional as in-charge to the post of respondent No.4-Special Tahsildar, Bengaluru. It was further stated that the in-charge Special Tahsildar will be complying

with the directions of the court, and shall consider the representations dated 17.12.2020 and 13.09.2023 of the complainant.
4. In that view, it is directed that respondent No.1-the Special Tahsildar shall comply with the directions within fifteen days from today.
5. The contempt petition does not survive and stands disposed of in above terms.
