(Oral) This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.3.2025 (Annexure P-5) and to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and to restrain the private respondents No.4 to 6 from harassing or interfering in the peaceful life and liberty of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 10.3.2025 (Annexure P-5), within a time bound manner. Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala is directed to look into the representation dated 10.3.2025 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The order so passed in the said representation shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
