1. Heard the parties.
2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences under Sections 379/427 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 39/44 of the Electricity Act, in connection with Giddi P.S. Case No. 17/07, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 477/07, pending in the Court of learned Spl. Judge of Electricity, Hazaribag.
3. It is alleged that the electric meter of the establishment of the petitioner in which the petitioner is the Director, was found to be tampered.
4. During the course of argument, both the parties submitted that the charge-sheet has also been submitted against the petitioner in this case and cognizance has already been taken.
5. Since, charge-sheet has already been submitted and cognizance has been taken, it is clear that the petitioner has cooperated with the investigation. Thus, there is no threat or apprehension of the petitioner of being arrested. Thus, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
