A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) I/w 3(5), 49 and 61(2) of the B.N.S. and Sec.20(1)(d)(i)(a) r/w 20(1)(c)ii, Iii, iV, X, 36(a) rtw 32A, 29(4)(a)(i) of the A.P. Forest (Amendment) Act, 2016. 3. Caseoftheprosecution isthat.I On 09.ll.2024 at 6.00 am, the s.I. of RSASTF, Tirupati, on receipt of credible information about illegal possession and transportation of red sanders, rushed to Kadapa-Tl'rupati NH Road, near ReddypaIIi Tank, M.Bhavi Forest Beat, Gadhela section and conducted vehicle checkl'ng. They found one Hyundai car bearing registration no.KA 01 Z 7920 coming from Kadapa side in hl'gh speed and on observing police, the inmates in the car tumed the car and stopped the car and two persons got down from the car and tried to escape. Then POIice party apprehended one among them while the other escaped. on enquiry said person dI'SCIosed his identity particulars and police seized 6 red sander logs in the car, arrested him and got remanded to judicial custody. Basl'ng on the confessional statement, name of the petl-tioner has been shown in the F.I.R. --zzi7 2 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant P~.~P. submits that major Part Of the investigation is completed and charge sheet could not be filed aS CO-accused in the aforesaid crime were absconding. 6. On a perusal of the material available On the record goes tO Show that basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, name of the petitioner has been shown as an accused in this cr'lme. Except confessional statement, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with this crime. ln the facts and circumstances of the case and as major portion of investigation is completed, this Court is inclined to grant the prayer of anticipatory ba-ll to the petitioner. 7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest Of Petitioner/A5 with regard tO this crime, he shall be released on bail on his executing a Personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand Only) With two Sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting police officials and also on condition that the petitioner shall make himself available for investigation as and when required and that he shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses. petit'IOner Shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned on every sunday between 10.00 am and 05.00 pm, till filing of the charge-sheet. 8.
