06/ 17.10.2025: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 07/2024, registered under sections 302/201/34 of the I.P.C, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased. He further submits that chargesheet has been submitted against two of the accused persons and investigation against the petitioner is kept open. He also submits that two of the accused persons have faced the trial and they have been acquitted vide
judgment dated 09.05.2025 in S.T. No. 45 of 2024. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that investigation against the petitioner is pending.

Considering that investigation against the petitioner is not completed till date and two of the accused persons faced the trial and they have been acquitted in S.T. No. 45/2024 by the learned Principal Sessions

Judge, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara, in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 07/2024, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
