The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 27668 of 2018 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue any appropriate writ order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent in issuing the Memo No. CGM (HRD) /JS(HR)/ GM/HR-2/DGM-VII// PO-I /D.No.252/18 dated 13.07.2018 and the action of the Respondents in issuing the orders of Appointment by Transfer to the Sub-Engineer Posts without resorting to Direct Recruitment to the said Posts as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also contrary to the APSEB Employees Service Regulations- Part-II and consequently set aside the Memo No. CGM (HRD) /JS(HR)/ GM/HR-2/DGM-VII// PO-I /D.No.252/18 dated 13.07.2018 issued by the 2nd Respondent and direct the Respondents to issue the Direct Recruitment Notification for the existing vacancies as per the APSEB Employees Service Regulations-Part-II and accordingly consider the cases of the Petitioners and other similar candidates for appointment as Sub-Engineers and pass…” 2. None represented on behalf of the Petitioners. The Proceeding Sheet dated 10.04.2025 also shows that there was no representation for the Petitioners. The Matter is directed to be listed on 16.04.2025, under the caption “for dismissal”. As can be seen from the list, the matter is not listed under the caption “for dismissal” in the list today. It appears they have no interest in prosecuting the matter. 3. In that view, the Writ Petition is dismissed for Non-prosecution. No order as to Costs.
