Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “It is, therefore, prayed that the petition may kindly be allowed and the judgment passed by learned Session Judge, Hamirpur, H.P. in Criminal Appeal No.5 of 2022 dated 24.03.2023, under Section 29 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and order dated 15.09.2017 passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hamirpur, H.P. in Cr.M.A No.206 of 2017 titled Rekha Devi Vs. Dalbir Parihar may kindly be ordered to be quashed and set aside in the interest of justice.” 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:38755 2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the considered view that as the petitioner is aggrieved by the orders that have been passed by the learned Courts below, in the proceedings that stand decided with regard to grant of interim maintenance, in proceedings initiated under Section 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, it would be in the interest of justice, in case, the main proceedings which stand initiated under the Domestic Violence Act, are ordered to be decided expeditiously. 3. As the parties agreed to the same, therefore, this petition is disposed of without interfering with the order under challenge, but with the observation that the main proceedings pending pending before the learned Court below be decided as expeditiously as possible and preferably before 31.03.2026, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
