2. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been transferred from S.L.B.S.G.M.C. Nerchowk, Mandi, H.P to Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Shimla. She is mother of three children out of which her elder daughter is suffering from Autism Spectrum disorder and is declared 50% disable by the Medical Board. She preferred a representation on 22.12.2025 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes
2 (Annexure P-4) to respondent No.2 seeking transfer to a place of her preference in accordance with the applicable transfer policy. Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided by the competent authority till date.

Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 22.12.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. Till the decision of the representation, the petitioner shall be permitted to work at her present place of posting i.e. S.L.B.S.G.M.C. Nerchowk, Mandi, H.P.
