Heard Sri Jainendra Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents. 2. By means of the present writ petition the petitioners are praying to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 13.03.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 103 of 2025, under Sections 191(2), 115(2), 351(2) B.N.S., 2023, P.S. Kithor, District Meerut. 3. By means of a short counter affidavit, learned A.G.A. has informed that charge-sheet has been submitted by the police on 19.3.2025. 4. When the instant writ petition was taken up as a fresh case on 8.4.2025, the parties had informed that a compromise had been entered into between them. For a verification of the compromise, the High Court had directed the Investigating Officer to verify the compromise and submit a report. That report was submitted before the Court on 22.4.2025. From the report, we find that the compromise has been verified to be a correct one. 5. Under the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that now when the parties have compromised the matter, no useful purpose would be served by proceeding with the trial of the case. Therefore, the writ petition is allowed. 6. Consequently, the impugned First Information Report dated 13.03.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 103 of 2025, under Sections 191(2), 115(2), 351(2) B.N.S., 2023, P.S. Kithor, District Meerut, is hereby quashed. The consequential proceedings shall be treated as null and void. (Madan Pal Singh, J.) (Siddhartha Varma, J.)
