The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deodanr P.S. Case No. 27 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No.1038 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 64, 351(2), 351(3) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Cognizance has been taken under Sections 87, 64 and 333 of B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Godda. On 11.08.2025 at about 9:30 P.M., the informant had gone to fetch water from well outside her house. The petitioner over powered her and took her to an isolated place and raped her. It was submitted that the husband of the informant was present at home when the occurrence had taken place. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
