06/17.10.2025 The present contempt petition has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding for non-compliance of the order dated 05.09.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 406 of 2017.
2. The relevant portion of the order dated 05.09.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 406 of 2017 is quoted hereunder:
5. Accordingly, the present writ petition is, hereby disposed of directing the respondents to issue rent receipt to the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt / production of copy of this order. However, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedy in accordance with law.
6. With the above observation and direction, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of.”
3. In pursuance of the order dated 19.09.2025, Mr. Sewa Ram Sahu, Circle Officer, Chas is physically present in the Court today and has submitted that the rent receipt has already been issued.
4. As such, the order dated 05.09.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 406 of 2017 stands complied. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to proceed further in the present contempt petition.
5. Accordingly, present contempt petition is disposed of. The presence of Mr. Sewa Ram Sahu, Circle Officer, Chas is dispensed with.
