ORAL ORDER
In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following relief:-
"Quash the FIR dated 29.07.2023 bearing Crime No.0230/2023 for the offences under Section 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code, registered by the Begur Police and pending before the 3rd Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the material on record.
3. The 2nd respondent – complainant has filed an application in I.A.No.3/2024 under Section 320 Cr.P.C. seeking compounding of offences with the petitioner on the ground that the dispute between them is amicably settled in C.C.No.98/2023 passed by the State Consumer Redressal Commission which ended in a compromise between the parties.
4. Accepting the reasons stated in the Affidavit filed in support of the application I.A.3/2024, I deem it just and appropriate to allow I.A.3/2024 and consequently, the present petition is hereby allowed and the impugned proceedings in FIR in Crime No.230/2023 registered by the 1st respondent - Beguru Police Station pending on the file of the 3rd Additional CMM Court, Bengaluru are hereby quashed insofar as the petitioner is concerned.
