(Oral) While placing on record communication dated 15.11.2025, issued under the signatures of Director, Youth Services & Sports, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, enclosing therewith copy of notification dated 12.11.2025, passed by Deputy Secretary (Personnel) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, states that game namely Wushu “has been ordered to be included in the list of existing games/sports”, which qualify meritorious sports persons for consideration of appointment/engagement to Group-A, B, C & D posts/services under State Government. 2. Having perused aforesaid documents, which are taken on record, this Court finds merit in the contention of learned Additional Advocate General. Since Wushu game now stands included in the list of existing games/sports, qua which distinguished sports persons can seek appointment, this Court sees no reason to keep the present petition alive and accordingly, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment against the post of Constable under Sports quota, pursuant to communication dated 15.01.2025 (Annexure P-2) expeditiously, preferably within four weeks from today.
