Pant, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Ganesh Kandpal, Additional C.S.C. for the State/respondents. Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J. (Oral) The petitioner is a college represented through its Manager. Some of the properties of the petitioner are on lease, which expired on 30.06.2018. The petitioner has sought renewal of the lease, but no decision has been taken by the respondent no.2, the District Magistrate, Dehradun. The petitioner seeks directions that the decision on the lease renewal application may be taken and other ancillary reliefs have also been sought. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the lease has been granted to the petitioner/school which is to be renewed for which purpose an application has already been issued and the renewal may be done in accordance with the Government Order. He would submit that by virtue of a 2 Government Order dated 06.12.2024, Rs.83.780 Lakh has been given to the petitioner/school for constructing boundary wall etc. He would submit that delay in decision on renewal of the lease deed is obstructing the development activities of the school. 4. Learned State counsel would submit that the applicant dated 23.01.2018, Annexure 7 will be decided within a period of two months. 5. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State counsel. 6. In view of the statement given by the learned State counsel, the writ petition is disposed of.
