When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondents furnished the proceedings dated 23.01.2025, wherein it is stated as follows: “Please refer to your representation dated 31.10.2024 seeking reason for preventing you from travelling abroad. 2. In this regards, it is intimated that an LOC exists at the behest of Indian Bank against you. Therefore, you were not allowed to travel abroad on said dat. 3. It is further intimated that Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs is only the custodian of LOCs who maintains LOCs and enforce the prescribed action as mentioned in LOC. You are requested to contact MD/CEO, Indian Bank to withdraw the travel ban against you.
