For the State : Mr. Achinto Sen, A.P.P ----- 02/02.05.2025: This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of sections 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, as the petitioner has been allegedly implicated in connection with Telco PS case no. 96 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under sections 109, 324(5), 3(5), 111(5), 249(B) of BNS, 2023 and u/s 25(1-B)a/ 26/27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, East Singhbhum. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. 3. The learned APP opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. 4. The allegation against the petitioner is that on the alleged day of occurrence the petitioner was doing Recce and, thereafter, he along with others have opened fire upon the informant and his friend. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR rather his name has come on the confessional statement of co- accused. 6. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioner along with others has shot at the informant and his friend, this case needs proper investigation. The presence of the petitioner is necessary before the Investigating Officer. 7. Hence, the present anticipatory bail application is dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J. ) KNR/
