JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 19.06.2026 Heard Shri S. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Shri R. Talukdar, learned State Counsel and Ms. P. Thapa, learned counsel appearing on instructions of Shri S. Dutta, learned Standing Counsel, P&RD. The instant writ petition has been filed by 5 nos. of petitioners with the grievance that the Dhubirchar Hat and Dainik Bazar was not included in the NIT dated 02.06.2025 issued by the newly elected Falimari Gaon Panchayat. It is the case of the petitioners that though they had represented, there was no response. Shri Talukdar, the learned State Counsel has submitted that the issue would culminate into the aspect of demarcation of land and in this regard, he has placed before this Court written instructions dated 20.05.2026 as per which the land was re-demarcated on 14.05.2026 in presence of the parties. A copy of the communication dated 20.05.2026 is also furnished to Shri Islam, the learned counsel for the petitioners who submits that in view of the aforesaid development, the writ petition may be closed. In terms of the aforesaid development which is reflected in the Page No.# 4/4 communication dated 20.05.2026, the writ petition stands closed.
