Pursuant to the directions issued in Sonika Chandel versus State of H.P and others,2 respondent No.2 considered the representation of the petitioner seeking transfer from Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Bakras, District Sirmour, H.P to GSSS, Dehlan, District Una and rejected the same on 27.10.2025 (Annexure P-3). The petitioner has laid challenge to the aforesaid order. 2. During hearing of the case, it came out that petitioner was appointed as Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical) on contract 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 CWP No.13939/2025, decided on 29.08.2025. 2 basis only on 19.07.2022. She is serving as such on contract basis at GSSS, Bakras, District Sirmour, H.P. Petitioner has not only not completed her contractual service but is yet to complete her normal tenure at the aforesaid place, which is her first station after appointment as Trained Graduate Teacher (T.G.T). Petitioner has given the impression in the writ petition that her husband was seriously ill, however, during hearing of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly admitted that petitioner’s husband is serving as Lecturer Economics at GSSS, Haroli, District Una though he is under treatment from P.G.I., Chandigarh. 3. Confronted with the above facts, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner be permitted to withdraw this writ petition at this stage. She be granted liberty to move the respondent/ take legal recourse on completion of her tenure at the aforesaid place which is her first appointment. 4.
