Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Petitioner in essence has prayed for release of arrears of revised pension from 01.01.2016 to 30.04.2022 in light of government decision/OM dated 19.06.2025 with respect to retirees who had crossed the age of 70 years. 2. Following order passed in this writ petition on 05.12.2025 noticed the gist of the petitioner’s grievance:- “Mr. Deepak Sharma, learned counsel has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.4. Learned counsel for the petitioner invites attention to an office memorandum dated 19.07.2025 (Annexure P-5) and states that the petitioner aged 73 years has not been released the pension arrears in terms of the said office memorandum. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 Let the respondents to file reply within three weeks and instructions be also placed on record with respect to above grievance of the petitioner by the next date. List on 30.12.2025. Name of Mr. Deepak Sharma, learned counsel, be reflected in the cause list, for respondent no.4, henceforth.” 3. Pursuant thereto, learned counsel for respondent No.4 has placed on record office instructions dated 24.12.2025 and on that basis submits that all arrears of the pension due to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.2016 to 30.04.2022 have now been released in his favour. Copy of computation sheet thereto in support thereof has already been appended alongwith the office instructions. 4. In view of above, the present writ petition stands disposed of as grievance of the petitioner has now been redressed. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
