1. The learned Advocate General has instructions to make a statement that the process for selection of the Director of Accounts, Government of Goa, is complete and the name of petitioner no. 1 is recommended to occupy the said post by the Goa Public Service Commission. He also makes a categorical statement that the recommendation is also accepted by the Government of Goa, and the appointment order shall be issued at the earliest. 18th June, 2025 2025:BHC-GOA:974-DB

2. Accepting the aforesaid statement, we expect the Government to issue an appointment order in favour of the petitioner within a period of four weeks.
3. In the wake of the aforesaid developments in the proceedings, the counsel seek permission to withdraw the petition, and the same stands
disposed of.
