IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA CWP No.20567 of 2025 Date of Decision: 29.12.2025 _______________________________________________________ Prem Lata …….Petitioner Versus State of Himachal Pradesh & others … Respondents _______________________________________________________ Coram: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Sharma, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? 1 For the Petitioner: Mr. Rajat Kumar, Advocate. For the Respondents: Mr. Rajan Kahol, Additional Advocate General with Mr. Ravi Chauhan and Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocate Generals. ____________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by learned counsel for the petitioner, is that though in terms of the judgment passed by this Court in Mohit Sharma’ s case, petitioner has been granted higher pay, but till date, consequential benefits have not been released. 2. While putting in appearance on behalf of the respondents, Mr. Rajan Kahol, fairly states that consequential benefits, if not already released, shall be released expeditiously. 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 3. In view of the fair stand adopted by learned Additional Advocate General, this Court sees no reason to call reply on behalf of the respondents and accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that consequential benefits, if any, flowing from aforesaid compliance, if not already released, shall be released expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. (Sandeep Sharma), Judge December 29, 2025 (shankar)
