Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by way of this petition, the petitioner has come up with a limited prayer that the petitioner is in possession over about 20 dismil (0.80 Hectare) of land bearing Khasra No. 1148 situated at Village Chandranagar, Tahsil Ramanujganj District ALFIZA BAIG Digitally signed by ALFIZA BAIG Date: 2025.07.21 16:40:52 +0530 2 Balrampur Ramanujganj, Chhattisgarh by constructing a house and cultivating it since 50 years and has made application before respondent no. 2 for granting patta recently on 25.06.2025 and several times earlier also but the respondent authorities have not taken any steps in deciding the application for grant for patta of the petitioner. 3. He submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the respondent no. 2 for granting him patta of the said land and the petitioner is landless persons, who may be granted patta in accordance with law and provisions engrafted under Chhattisgarh Revenue Book Circular Chapter 4 No. 3 and Chhattisgrah Land Revenue Code, which deals about the grant of patta to the landless persons, therefore, the petitioners applications/representations may also be considered and decided by the respondents authorities within some stipulated period of time. 4. Learned State Counsel disputed the allegations made by the petitioner and further raised no objection in issuing direction to the Collector to decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law/rule/regulation. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 6. The petitioner has filed the present petition with a limited prayer of issuing direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the application dated 25.06.2025 filed by the petitioner for grant of patta of 20 dismil (0.80 Hectare) of land bearing Khasra No. 1148 situated at Village Chandranagar, Tahsil Ramanujganj District Balrampur Ramanujganj, Chhattisgarh within some stipulated time period. 7. Looking to the limited and genuine grievance of the petitioner this Court while disposing of the present petition directs the concerned respondents to decide the application dated 25.06.2025 filed by the petitioner as per law/rules/regulation. 8.
