The present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant/appellant for release of the amount in terms of the judgment passed by this Court in FAO No.584 of 2016 a/w FAO No.221 of 2019 on 07.08.2025. Since the appeal preferred by the applicant/appellant has partly been allowed, it is ordered that the excess amount deposited by the Insurance company along with up-to-date interest be released in its favour and the same shall be transmitted in its bank account, the details whereof have been mentioned in the application. However, it is made clear that before releasing the amount, the Registry of this Hon’ble Court shall make calculations and transmit the amount in favour of the applicant/appellant in terms of the judgment dated 07.08.2025.
