Sl.No. 155 Court No. 35 G.S.Das 19.08.2025 WPA 18300 of 2024 Anil Kumar Kejriwal -Vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Debangshu Dinda Mr. Bimal Halder … for the State-Respondent(s) The writ petition earlier appeared on 19.12.2024 when none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today, when the writ petition has been called, none represented the petitioner. Mr. Dinda, learned advocate, appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that the Bailiff has handed over the possession of the decretal property to the decree-holder. Consequently, the police authorities acted inconsonance with the order of a court of law, as such, there is no scope of police excesses and/or over action. In view of the report so submitted, I am of the opinion that the writ petition lacks any cause of action. Accordingly, WPA 18300 of 2024 is dismissed. Report so submitted be kept with the record. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
