THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayers: "(i) Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus against the - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:14613 WP No. 31624 of 2024 Respondents 1 and 2 to release the grant-in-aid sanction to the petitioner for the year 2014-15 as per Annexure "A" dated 16-08-2017. (ii) And grant the petitioner such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit under the circumstances of the case." 2. Heard Sri. M. Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. H. Shanthi Bhushan, learned DSGI appearing for the respondents and have perused the material on record. 3. The plea of the petitioner is release of grant-in-aid that to the petitioner for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. The representation / legal notice is caused upon the Secretary of the Central Social Welfare Board. The Central Social Welfare Board is now wound up and is now a part of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. 4. Therefore, the learned DSGI, Sri. H. Shanthi Bhushan would submit that the representation ought to have been made to the Ministry of Women and Child Development and not to the Board that is wound up. 5. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to dispose the - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:14613 WP No. 31624 of 2024 petition directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the Secretary of Ministry of Women and Child Development, who shall consider the same and pass necessary orders within twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
