The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hiranpur P.S. Case No. 19 of 2024, corresponding to Pakur S.T. Case No.118 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Kumar Kranti Prasad, learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Pakur. On 11.04.2024 at about 03:00 p.m., petitioner and her husband came to the house of the informant and started assaulting her mother. It is alleged that the petitioner had caught hold of the mother of the informant, while her husband Simon Tudu @ Hopna Tudu severed her neck. It was submitted that co-accused Simon Tudu @ Hopna Tudu has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 8578/2025. In view of the fact that there is direct allegation against the petitioner that she had caught hold the mother of the informant and her husband Simon Tudu @ Hopna Tudu severed her neck, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
