Mr. Deepak Sharma, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner, aged 73 years, seeks two additional increments on the basis of notification dated 10.09.2015 (Annexure P-1) and decision rendered in Himachal Road Transport Corporation Versus Suresh Kumar and others2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation to the 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 CWP No.4167 of 2019, decided on 29.11.2021 2 respondents on 02.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) in this regard. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to this prayer. 3. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter including the impact of delay and laches, if any, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 02.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law as also keeping in view the aforesaid notification dated 10.09.2015 (Annexure P-1) and decision rendered in Suresh Kumar2 within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
