For the respondents : Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, Additional Advocate General. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-
“i) That a writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued thereby directing the respondent No.4 to decide the appeal filed by Rajesh Kumar i.e. Case No. 21/2025 in a time bound working day. ii) That a writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued directing respondent No. 5 to decide the 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:40979 appeal pending before said authority for correction of meterkaans in a time bound manner. iii) That, a direction may be issued to respondent No.3 to remove the encroachment made by respondents Nos. 9 and 10 stacked on the Khasra No. 295, situate in Mohal Garari, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. iv) That, respondent No. 8 may be directed to take steps for construction of motorable path on Khasra No. 295 situate in Mohal Garari, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, at the earliest.”
2. The petitioner is seeking a direction for the disposal of Appeal filed by the private respondent, which Appeal pertains to the year 2025.

This Court is of the considered view that in the light of the fact that the Appeal pertains to the year 2025 only and it is not demonstrable from the record that the Authority is not making an earnest effort to dispose of the Appeal and is delaying the adjudication thereof with some ulterior motive, no direction, as prayed for, can be granted.
4. The petition is accordingly dismissed. The petitioner may approach the Court afresh if there indeed is a delay in the adjudication of the Appeal, which presently this Court feels, is
