Waquar Rizwi, Advocate ({Hon’ble Justice Shri Arvind Kumar Verma}) Order on Board 09/05/2025 1) Heard. 2) Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 25.10.2024 (Annexure A/1) passed by the learned Family Court, Baikanthpur, District – Koriya Chhattisgarh passed in MJC No. 03/2024, wherein it was held by the court that applicant was not entitled to claim maintenance from respondent as she is major and not unable to maintain herself due to some physical and mental abnormality under the provisions of Section 125(1) (c) of Cr.P.C. 2 3) The parties appeared before the mediation center, High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur. 4) Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that he parties have entered into the compromise and executed an agreement name and styles as “Samjhouta-patra” and under the terms of such compromise, learned counsel for the applicant wants to dispose of this petition. 5) Perused the terms of compromise where it has been held that non- applicant/respondent Riyazuddin Ansari will provide a sum of Rs. 2,500/-(Two thousand and five hundred) per month to the applicant/Alfiya Ansari through Phone Pay or will deposit in her bank account no. 3569300686 in Central Bank of India till she gets married. Riyazuddin/respondent will also provide Rs. 5,00,000/-at the time of marriage of Alfiya Ansari . 6) Prima facie perusal of the same shows that the terms are reasonable. 7) Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties. 8) Certified copy as per rules. sd/- (Arvind Kumar Verma) JUDGE alfiza
