The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 229 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 18, 22, 27(a) & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Cases, Chatra. 3. On 30.06.2025, Chatra Sadar Police, apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused persons from a place near Kathoria Road. On search, 2.191 kgs of opium were recovered from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
