It is pleaded that the petitioner belongs to the ‘Other Backward Classes’. It is further pleaded that an application for the issuance of a ‘social status certificate’ was submitted before respondents No. 2 & 3, but till date same has not been decided. 3) Taking into consideration, the fact that the petitioner has not provided relevant dates regarding submission of applications before respondent Nos. 2 and 3 for issuance of ‘social status certificate’, no such direction can be issued. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to move fresh application before respondent Nos. 2 and 3 for the issuance of a ‘social status certificate’, if so advised. 4) With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is hereby disposed of.
