The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 137/ 2024, arising out of Karra P.S. Case No. 42 of 2023, for the offences under Sections 25(1-A)/25(1-B)(a)/ 25/(6), 26/35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti. On 02.06.2023 at about 08:30 P.M, Karra Police apprehended the petitioner alongwith other accused persons and on search, a country- made rifle and three live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the co-accused Ajay Dhan @ Soma Dhan. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court earlier in B.A. No. 8297 of 2023. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but has not disputed the aforesaid facts. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti in connection with S.T.
