For the petitioner(s) : Mr. Abhishek Singh, Advocate.
For the State : Mr. P.D.Agrawal, Spl.P.P
-----
02/02.05.2025: This is an application filed by the petitioners praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of sections 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, as the petitioners have been allegedly implicated in connection with Kotwali PS case no. 43 of 2023, corresponding to GR case No. 1845 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under sections 147, 149,307, 324, 325 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur.
2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned APP for the State.
3.
The learned APP opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
4.
The allegation against the petitioners is that they along with others have assaulted the informant with sharp cutting weapon due to which he sustained serious injuries.
5.
Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioners along with others have assaulted the informant, I do not find this case fit for grant of anticipatory bail. Thus, the present anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
