The petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. It is alleged that she was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons.
