The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 11 of 2025 arising out of Lawalong P.S. Case No.18 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 18, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge -III, Chatra. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.1742 of 2025 by order dated 04.03.2025. It was submitted that 5.800 kgs. of opium was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of commercial quantity. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall expedite the trial. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
