ORDER This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for the non-compliance of the order passed in W.P.No. 554 of 2023, dated
06.08.2024.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner is not entitled for extension of 7 th Pay Commission.
3. Learned counsel submitted that the particulars that were submitted by the petitioner in the previous hearing pertains to a different temple.
4. It is not necessary for this Court to go into the disputed questions of
facts. If ultimately the petitioner is granted the terminal benefits only in line with the 6 th Pay Commission and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition.
5. It is seen from the records that as per the communication issued by the Executive authority dated 07.11.2024, the petitioner has been informed that the temple is having financial constraints and therefore, the claim made by the petitioner based on the 7 th Pay Commission will be settled after financial situation improves. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

6. In view of the same, as and when the financial situation improves, the claim made by the petitioner based on the 7 th Pay Commission shall be paid to the petitioner.
