AJITHKUMAR, J. ----------------------------------------------------------- Crl.Appeal No.269 of 2010 ----------------------------------------------------------- Dated this the 28th day of March, 2025 JUDGMENT This is an appeal against conviction. The sentence includes both imprisonment and fine. 2. The learned Senior Public Prosecutor made available a copy of the death certificate of the appellant for my perusal. 3. The appellant expired on 10.12.2022. Since no legal representative or person having interest in the estate of the appellant has come forward to pursue the appeal, the appeal cannot be retained on the files, although fine forms part of the sentence. In the circumstances, this appeal is closed for the time being. The records are consigned to the Record Room in terms of the law laid down in Pazhani v. State of Kerala [2017] 1 KLT 341].
