1. Mr. Nikhil Rohatgi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.1 & 2/DDA submits that an affidavit in terms of the previous
order dated 07.03.2025 has been filed. He submits that the eligibility of 16 evictees of Ashoka Pahari has been decided by the competent authority of DDA and draw of lots in respect of the eligible evictees will soon be conducted.
2. On instructions, he submits that out of 16 evictees, 8 evictees have been found ineligible and a communication indicating reasons for their ineligibility will be intimated to the said ineligible evictees within a period of two weeks from today.
3. In view of the above position, Mr. S.K. Rungta, the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to press the This is a digitally signed order. present contempt petition any further, however, he seeks liberty to challenge the order declaring the 08 evictees as ineligible, if so advised.
4. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
5. The petitioner is further granted liberty to revive the present contempt petition in case any grievance of the eligible evictees with regard to the costing of the flats survives.
