ORAL ORDER
The petitioner and the legal representatives of the complainant/respondent and their respective counsel are present before the Court. 2. The parties have filed an application in I.A.No.1/2025 under Section 147 of
N.I. Act accompanying with the affidavit wherein they have stated that the matter is settled between the parties and the petitioner herein has paid the amount of Rs.7,00,000/- by way of cash and the respondents submits that they have received the amount of Rs.7,00,000/- by way of cash in the month of December, 2024. 3. The counsel for the complainant also identified the legal representatives before the Court and the counsel for the petitioner also identified the petitioner.
In view of the settlement arrived between the parties as having paid the amount of Rs.7,00,000/- as against Rs.18,15,000/- in view of settlement which has been acknowledged by the

legal representatives of the complainant/respondent, it is appropriate to allow the application filed under Section 147 of N.I. Act and as a result, the revision petitioner is acquitted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I. Act subject to petitioner depositing Rs.5,000/- before the Trial Court as fine to the State within one week from today and to produce the receipt for having paid the amount in the registry.
