This contempt application has been preferred by the petitioner for initiating a contempt proceeding against the opposite party No. 2 for wilfully and deliberately violating the order dated 16.03.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 5976 of 2022. A show cause has been filed by the opposite party No. 2 from which it appears that an order has been passed on 18.08.2025 in Gumla Arms Appeal No. 46 of 2023, whereby and whereunder, the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the rejection of her prayer for arms licence has been dismissed. The same indicates sufficient compliance of the order dated 16.03.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 5976 of 2022 and consequently this contempt application is disposed of.
