learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.82/2024, registered for the offence U/S 4/21 Mines Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, U/R 54 Jharkhand Minor Mineral Concession Rule 2004 and U/R 7/9/13 Jharkhand Mineral (Prevention of Illegal Mining. Transportation and Storage) Rule 2017, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has been taken by one of the co-villagers alleging that the petitioner used to indulge in illegal mining. He further submits that the same case has been lodged against several persons. He further submits that other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in ABA Nos.5192 of 2024, 5929 of 2024, 6805 of 2024 and 2817 of 2025.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer and submits that one criminal antecedent is there against the petitioner.

5. In view of the above and considering that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of one of the co- villagers, the other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in aforesaid ABAs, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of the order and on the event of his surrender / arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.82/2024, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
7. This Anticipatory Bail Application is accordingly allowed and
disposed of.
